It may have been warm and muggy this morning but the wind was calm and that made for some great weather for the racers that lined up to take part in the Armada TT race #3 of the 2011 Armada TT Series.
We had another great turnout for our race against the clock down the 4.1-mile Lake Mary Boulevard course. We had a nice group of riders that came up with Kyle's Bike Shop out of Orlando which loaded up our beginner Mens division. Not to be out done, several new faces showed up and made for a nicely represented beginner Womens division as well as several participants who time trialed the old-fashioned way; on stock bikes.
A big thanks goes out to our Armada Racing members, who volunteer their time to insure all participants have a fun and safe race, and to D2 Cycling Center which provided the Gift Certificates and other prizes for this event.
We're going to take a little break over the summer, but the second half of the Armada TT Series, is tentatively scheduled for the first Sunday in September, October and November (9/4, 10/2 and 11/6) mark your calendars now and make plans to participate.
