EXPLOSIF
Kona’s heritage in steel hardtails runs deep, and today’s
Explosif
is a direct descendant of our legendary originals. The Explosif’s
Reynolds 520 cromoly frame has been updated with a new seat tube gusset
for improved standover and retains our sliding dropouts for you single
speed lovers out there.
This year we’ve pulled out all the stops with the Explosif’s spec. A
SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain and Guide brakes, the brand new
35mm-stanchion RockShox Revelation fork with 120mm of travel, a Reverb
dropper with 1x lever, and tubeless-ready Maxxis tires on WTB i29 TCS
rims.
The Explosif rides like only a Kona can, and we’re sure you’ll appreciate it for years to come.
